We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Animal Care Specialist to join our team at Dogs Trust. As a key member of our Rehoming Centre team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and welfare management to dogs in our centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Daily Care: Ensure the highest levels of care and welfare management to dogs in our Rehoming Centre, adhering to Dogs Trust's code of practice and Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Education and Customer Service: Educate potential new owners and the general public in the care and welfare of their dogs, establishing excellent customer relations for the centre.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team to achieve our centre's goals and objectives, ensuring the most suitable home is found for each dog.
About You

We are looking for an excellent communicator with the ability to show empathy to both people and animals. A strong team player, you will have lots of energy teamed with a positive upbeat attitude. Experienced in working with or handling dogs, you will be knowledgeable in basic behaviour and health issues and committed to the aims and objectives of Dogs Trust.

What You Need to Know
