**PASSENGER TRANSPORT OPERATIVE**

‘A’ Taxi Ilfracombe Ltd services a vast range of sectors throughout Devon, including social services, county council, private care, nursing homes, schools, colleges, hospitals and much more Due to increased opportunities within these specialist sectors, we are looking to recruit am additional **PASSENGER TRANSPORT OPERATIVE** in addition to our 30+ current employees, to undertake essential school travel for vulnerable students who may have additional requirements and/or who reside in remote locations.

Our business has evolved and adapted recently, and ‘A’ Taxi’s is now one of North Devon’s leading passenger transport services for specialist schools in the area.

**The hours for this position may range from 20 - 40 hours per week (depending on the needs of the applicant) over 38 weeks of the year (Term time only). Salary is calculated annually and spread over 12 months to ensure a consistent income for our employees.**

**Requirements**:

- Excellent and safe driving skills
- Friendly and helpful demeanour
- The ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
- Reliability and flexibility
- The ability to work well in a team and to also be happy working alone at times
- Hackney Carriage Licence**

**Applicants will require a Hackney Carriage driving licence, but we can assist with this requirement at no extra cost to the applicant**
