Senior People Advisor

Iconic Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled Senior People Advisor to join their dynamic and fast-growing consultancy on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of People to deliver a proactive and commercial advisory service to internal stakeholders, providing expert guidance and support on employee relations and people operations.

The role involves managing and resolving routine and complex ER cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, redundancies, and restructures. The Senior People Advisor will also contribute to the development and implementation of people policies and procedures, as well as support the delivery of people projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and resolve ER cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, and performance management
  • Provide expert guidance and support on ER issues, influencing key decision makers
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of people policies and procedures
  • Support the delivery of people projects, including onboarding, health & wellbeing, and restructuring
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to enhance the employee experience
  • Proactively gather and analyze data to support ER initiatives
  • Advise on people matters related to sponsored workers, immigration routes, and sponsored licenses
  • Keep abreast of HR procedures, legal matters, and best practice
  • Support the identification of training needs and coach line managers/employees
Requirements:
  • Experience operating at a similar level with a proven track record in managing complex ER casework
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification
  • Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
  • Negotiation skills and ability to influence key stakeholders
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and ability to provide advice and guidance
  • Highly driven and passionate about HR and best practices
  • Knowledge of HR systems and technology
