We are recruiting for the Civil Engineering division of a leading main contractor. Our company boasts an impressive project portfolio encompassing bridges, highways, rail, and utilities.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor in our team, you will participate in a bridge replacement project scheduled to run until 2026, with potential extensions. This challenging opportunity requires a seasoned quantity surveyor with expertise in NEC4 Contract management, sub-contractor management, and proficiency in various civil engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate financial aspects of the project, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with sub-contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice on NEC4 Contract management and ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the development of project schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.


To succeed in this role, you will require:
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably within a Main Contractor environment.
  • Proficiency in NEC4 Contract management and associated software.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
