Staff Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our Gynaecology team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to a good working environment in which patients receive a high standard of care.
- Ensure that care is patient-focused and that patient dignity and privacy are maintained at all times.
- Practice in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and other appropriate NMC guidelines.
- Ensure due regard is given to the customs, values, and spiritual beliefs of patients and colleagues and that equal opportunities are practiced.
- Provide psychological and emotional support to patients in the gynaecology inpatient ward and gynaecology day unit.
- Act under the direction of the registered nurse in charge of the nursing team in setting standards and expectations in the quality of care.
- Maintain effective communication with all disciplines, patients, and relatives.
- Represent patients at multi-disciplinary meetings, ensuring that their needs are assertively presented.
- Ensure that all Trust and Unit policies and procedures are adhered to.
- RN1/RN2 Adult on NMC register.
- Diploma or degree in Adult Nursing.
- Evidence-based practice.
- NHS hospital experience.
- Able to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
