Si Recruitment is seeking an experienced Qualified Accountant to join a family-run accountancy practice in Northallerton. This interim role involves preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and charities, as well as drafting corporation tax computations and management accounts.


A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a professional practice is required, along with excellent IT skills and experience with accountancy software. The successful candidate will enjoy benefits such as flexitime, 28 days holiday, free parking, and a central location close to local amenities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and charities
  • Drafting corporation tax computations
  • Preparation of VAT returns and bookkeeping
  • Preparation of management accounts

Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years' experience in a professional practice
  • Professionally qualified at AAT Level 4
  • Excellent IT skills, including good use of Excel
  • Experience with accountancy software
  • Flexibility and proactivity in managing multiple priorities
