About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Setter Operator to join our team at Omega Resource Group. As a CNC Setter Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate multiple CNC machines to produce high-quality components.
  • Read and edit programs to optimize machine performance and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct quality control checks using various measurement tools to ensure components meet specifications.
  • Inspect and maintain machinery, tooling, and equipment to prevent defects and ensure efficient production.
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
  • Ability to read, interpret, and communicate technical information and drawings.
  • Experience using Multi Axis Mill/Turn machines, 4 Axis Milling Machines, and 2/3 Axis Lathes.
  • Knowledge of Fanuc Controls and ERP systems (SAP) and DNC Software (Seiki).
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to identify errors in NC code.
