**CNC Machinist - Setter/Operator**

**What does the role involve?**
EMBS Engineering is working in partnership with a leading precision engineering business that specialises in the manufacture of small to medium sized, complex, safety-critical components for a number of market-leading OEM's within high profile markets.
Located in Northampton, due to increased orders, our client is looking to recruit skilled CNC Millers & Turners to join their business on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities include:

- Run proven programs, adjust work and/or tool co-ordinates and correct any errors
- Set tools and produce a ‘First Off’ part to correct quality standard
- Carry out 1st off inspection from engineering drawings and update paperwork
- Ensure the cell output is made to the agreed schedules
- Ensure the quality of the machine output is to required specification

**What experience do you need?**
- Proven CNC Milling or CNC Turning experience
- Strong capabilities in setting and operating multi-axis CNC Milling or CNC Turning machines using Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls
- Previous background of machining small to medium sized precision components for high profile industries including; Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Medical or any other advanced manufacturing sectors
- Comfortable performing multiple set ups per day
- Confidence in performing self inspection of parts using manual measuring equipment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Worked with small to medium batch sizes
