Electrical Operative Role Overview

Serco is seeking a skilled Electrical Operative to join our team at the Defence Academy in Swindon. As an Electrical Operative, you will be responsible for undertaking preventative and reactive maintenance repairs to a variety of building services, providing a customer-focused and cost-effective service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out electrical pre-planned maintenance and reactive activities across a multi-building site as required.
  • Repair a variety of building services and demonstrate competence to multi-skill outside their core trade.
  • Be involved with refurbishment, planned, and reactive maintenance.
  • Work with minimal supervision and make decisions on the most appropriate repair solution.
  • Undertake a continual programme of risk assessment in relation to your role.
  • Provide exceptional service to our high-profile client and deliver services to the highest quality standard in all building areas.

Requirements:

  • Trade background and qualifications (recognised qualification or apprenticeship)
  • Full UK driving licence
