Job Title: Homecare Support Worker

About the Role:

HRM Homecare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in providing high-quality care to individuals in their own homes. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering our service users to live independently and comfortably in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized care to service users, including assistance with daily living tasks such as washing, dressing, toileting, and meal preparation.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to service users, promoting their physical and mental well-being.
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry, to maintain a safe and healthy living environment.
  • Accompany service users to appointments and social events, promoting their social interaction and engagement.
  • Administer medication and provide catheter care, stoma care, and other specialized care as required.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination.

  • Be a friendly, kind, and compassionate individual with a genuine desire to care for others.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users and their families.
  • Be reliable, flexible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Have a willingness to learn and develop new skills, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
