Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sports Rights Executive to join our growing EU live sports team. The successful candidate will support the Head of Sports Rights and Business Affairs in negotiating and managing sports rights for Prime Video across the EU.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as an internal champion and point of contact for live sports rights agreements, working closely with adjacent teams including Marketing, Legal, Production, and Advertising.
  • Support Amazon's relationship with rights holders and commercial partners.
  • Manage and grow adjacent commercialization of live sports rights.
  • Take ownership of specific live sports rights negotiations.
  • Manage contractual workflow and pipeline with legal teams.
  • Input on Amazon's Live Sport strategy and help grow the live sports portfolio.

Requirements

  • Experience with Excel.
  • Experience in an account management, licensing, or business development role.
  • Experience negotiating complex agreements with a firm understanding of legal terminology and reasoning.
  • Experience in sports broadcast deal making.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fully qualified Lawyer with prerequisite legal qualifications.
  • Experience within the sports industry from either a broadcaster, federation, or agency.
  • Technology affinity with a natural interest in internet services and applications and enthusiasm for technical innovation.
