Job Title: Neurological Care Assistant

Location: North West England

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced individual to work as a neurological care assistant, supporting people with acquired brain injury and other neurological conditions in our centre in Lancashire.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide one-to-one companionship and support, helping individuals maintain their independence and achieve their goals.

You will have the opportunity to participate in various activities, such as arts and crafts, outdoor activities, and social events, tailored to meet the needs and preferences of each individual.

The frequency of your involvement can be flexible, but we require a commitment of at least 1-2 hours per week.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one companionship and support to individuals with acquired brain injury and other neurological conditions
  • Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as going for walks or engaging in creative activities
  • Develop a supportive relationship based on trust and understanding
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information

Required Qualifications

Estimated Salary:£15.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
