About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Research Fellow to join our team at the University of Oxford. This is a unique opportunity to work in a Cancer Research UK funded research programme that aims to quantify the benefits and risks of cancer treatments.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in oncology and experience in clinical research. They will be responsible for identifying relevant trials, extracting data, and analyzing it in partnership with statisticians to produce dose-response relationships.

The post-holder will play a key role in comparing the risks from systematic therapy with the benefits, to inform clinical decisions for patients today. They may also provide oncology input to ongoing studies and meta-analyses being conducted within the group.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 2 years in the first instance. The post-holder may have the opportunity to study for a DPhil, subject to passing selection criteria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and extract relevant data from clinical trials
  • Analyze data in partnership with statisticians to produce dose-response relationships
  • Compare risks from systematic therapy with benefits to inform clinical decisions
  • Provide oncology input to ongoing studies and meta-analyses
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
