Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Intervention Tutor to join our team in a 'Outstanding' school in Tower Hamlets. As a Primary Intervention Tutor, you will work closely with our experienced teaching staff to develop and deliver targeted interventions for students with Special Educational Needs and Emotional and Mental Health (SEN and SEMH) needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective interventions for small groups of students with SEN and SEMH needs
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to identify student needs and develop targeted support plans
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make recommendations for improvement
- Provide one-to-one and group support to students as needed
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- A First-Class degree from a Russell Group University
- Previous experience working with young people, preferably in an education setting
- Excellent communication, patience, and resilience skills
- A passion for working with students with SEN and SEMH needs
