About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Citadines South Kensington, London. As a key member of our Housekeeping Department, you will be responsible for leading a team of housekeeping staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head Housekeeper in leading the Housekeeping Team and ensuring that standards of cleaning, hygiene, stock control, and staffing are maintained.
- Plan, organize, and supervise the cleaning services within the property, ensuring that all areas are clean and tidy at all times.
- Deal with suppliers, trade associations, and outsourced partners to ensure that linen, uniform, consumable, and staff costs are within budget.
- Support the Head Housekeeper on all departmental communications, including reporting and budgeting for the Housekeeping Team.
- Manage reporting and help with budgeting for the Housekeeping Team, ensuring that all financial aspects are accurately recorded and reported.
Requirements:
- 2 years of previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospitality or hotel management environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and shifts.
- Good knowledge of housekeeping procedures and practices, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
