Electromechanical Calibration Engineer

About the Position:We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Calibration Engineer to join our team at Proactive Global in Bracknell. As a key member of our calibration laboratory, you will be responsible for testing, calibrating, operating, and repairing electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, electrohydraulic, or electronic measuring and recording instruments.
Your primary duties will include:
- Performing complex calibrations using precision measurement instruments.
- Developing and maintaining calibration procedures in accordance with ISO 9001 & BS EN ISO/IEC 17025 quality systems.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Liaising with clients on instrument use, repair, and replacements.
- Providing expertise to customers on our products and services.
- Assisting internal sales desk with technical queries.
- Maintaining accurate records and reports, including calibration results and maintenance schedules.
- Occasional on-site visits to set up and remove rental equipment.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Experience working in a calibration laboratory environment, preferably with electromechanical instruments.
- A degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and specialized calibration software.
- The ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
