About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced MFL teacher to take on a leadership role at our school. As Head of Modern Foreign Languages, you will be responsible for leading and managing the MFL department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the MFL department, including planning, teaching, and assessing student progress.
- Develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies to improve student outcomes.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive curriculum.
- Manage and motivate a team of MFL teachers, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures related to MFL.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience as a successful MFL teacher
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
