Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement supplier quality strategies to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of parts throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with designers, engineers, suppliers, and manufacturing teams to identify and mitigate quality risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct on-site audits and assessments to verify supplier capabilities, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for suppliers, including PPM, to drive continuous improvement and optimize supply chain performance.
  • Lead and facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues, utilizing 8D and SCAR methodologies to ensure timely resolution and prevention of future occurrences.
  • Support the development and implementation of part quality plans (PQPs) and engineering change management processes to ensure seamless integration and approval of new parts.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and issue resolution.
Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent in engineering, science, or numerical discipline.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance, engineering, or a related field, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality integration.
  • Experience with APQP or similar quality integration into project delivery processes, with a focus on new model introduction requirements.
  • External auditor experience, ideally qualified to ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required, with a strong understanding of cultural and business differences.
