NHS National Services Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our community mental health services, you will play a vital role in improving physical health care outcomes for patients with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in partnership with local community mental health teams, GPs, practice nurses, and third sector partners to deliver a person-centered and strength-based approach to care.
- Run local physical health care clinics and undertake duties with minimal supervision, while supporting and supervising junior nursing colleagues.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of physical health care policies and protocols to ensure effective care delivery.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a valid practicing certificate.
- Experience in community mental health nursing, with a focus on physical health care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work patterns.
