We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Electrical Engineering Lecturer to join our academic team at Austin Fraser. As a key contributor to our Further Education program, you will have the opportunity to shape the minds of the next generation of engineers.
About the Role- We require a qualified Electrical Engineer with a strong background in teaching and industry experience to deliver high-quality instruction in Electrical Engineering.
- The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a commitment to student success, and a passion for teaching.
- Deliver engaging lectures and workshops in Electrical Engineering, ensuring students gain a comprehensive understanding of the subject.
- Support students with their academic and professional development, offering guidance and mentoring when needed.
- Contribute to the development of the curriculum and support the continuous improvement of teaching practices.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related field) or equivalent industry experience.
- A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one, such as a PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent).
- Experience in teaching Electrical Engineering or a related subject, particularly at Further Education level.
- Strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering concepts and applications.
- A commitment to delivering a high standard of education and student support.
- Industry-recognized certifications or experience in electrical installations, circuits, or renewable energy.
- Familiarity with using digital tools and platforms to support teaching and learning.
