We are seeking a Quality Control Engineer Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills and a proven understanding of quality management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of quality control engineers to ensure compliance with quality standards EN9100.
  • Analyse production processes and data to identify opportunities for optimisation and efficiency improvements while maintaining product quality.
  • Develop inspection and risk management methods to analyse product quality in line with customer requirements such as MSA, FMEA, CPK.
  • Oversee and direct the complaints process, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with relevant departments.
  • Develop and provide training to staff on internal quality processes, standards, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Previous quality assurance experience and demonstrated use of quality tools/methodology.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry such as automotive (16949), aerospace (9100) or oil & gas.
  • Experience in conducting internal and external quality audits to verify compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Proficient in creating and maintaining accurate quality documentation, reports, and records to facilitate traceability and continuous improvement.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.
