We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Apprentice Learning Administrator to join our team at the University of Birmingham. As an Apprentice Learning Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery and smooth running of operational activities for apprenticeship programmes within the College of Social Sciences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and compliance support across the College's Apprenticeship portfolio, including generating accurate data for audit inspections.
- Maintain the details of apprentices, record ongoing apprentice interactions, and develop and maintain data management systems for funding purposes.
- Proactively follow up with current and prospective apprentices, prepare Evidence Packs, and ensure compliance with audit and data protection requirements.
- Respond to internal and external enquiries and support the Apprenticeships Team with management information reports.
- Liaise with employers and key internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of apprenticeship programmes.
Requirements:
- Evidence of skills and ability to undertake the role.
- Experience of multi-tasking and delivery to an agreed timescale.
- GCSEs to a minimum of grade C/4 in English and Mathematics grade C minimum (or equivalent level 2 qualification).
- Good IT skills with working knowledge of standard Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to take responsibility for specific tasks, work independently, and contribute to improving processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others.
- Well-organized with the ability to prioritize work proactively, independently, and as part of a team.
- A good understanding of how to deliver excellent customer service.
- Experience of using and maintaining complex work systems, such as student databases, finance record systems, or HR systems.
