Fundraising Strategist

Merrifield Consultants is a leading consultancy that supports charities in achieving their fundraising goals. We are currently working with an exceptional organisation, The Rainbow Children's Trust, to find a highly skilled Philanthropy Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating and stewarding major donors, trusts, and statutory bodies to drive significant income growth. This is an exciting opportunity to join our client's team and contribute to the development of a comprehensive fundraising strategy.

About the Role:

• This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum.
• You will work closely with the Director of Fundraising and Engagement to develop inspiring fundraising cases and impact reporting.
• This role has line management responsibility for three experienced fundraisers who manage their own portfolios of major donors, trusts, and foundations.

• You have a proven track record in philanthropy management, driving income growth through effective prospect management.
• You possess strong negotiation, presentation, and networking skills, with the ability to motivate others.
• You are a collaborative team player, able to stimulate others into action.
