About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Customer Delivery Driver to join our team at Tesco. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering customer shopping trips in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the van and trays are clean and well-maintained.
  • Loading the van as required, checking the van for roadworthiness.
  • Talking to customers about any changes to their order, including short code items and substitutions.
  • Delivering during the customer's time slot.
  • Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Requirements
  • A valid UK/EU/EEA driving license (full or automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate starting at £12.92, increasing to £14.05 for stores inside the M25.
  • Additional payments may apply depending on location.
  • Minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with opportunities to work fewer hours.
  • 3 weeks' notice of scheduled shifts.
