Mac Recruit Group is seeking a skilled Crane Supervisor to lead lift and rigging teams on site for our client, a renowned worldwide engineering company based in Glasgow.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will plan, coordinate, and supervise all lifting operations, ensuring the safe use of cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment. They will maintain accurate records of inspections, certifications, and maintenance activities, and document all lifting operations, including load weights, equipment used, and personnel involved.

In addition to their technical expertise, the successful candidate will provide training and guidance to crew members, promoting a culture of safety and adherence to regulations. They will work closely with other departments to coordinate lifting operations during cargo handling or ship maintenance activities.

We offer a competitive salary package, including additional allowances for night shifts and weekend work, depending on qualifications and experience. The salary range for this role is estimated at £40,000-£60,000 per annum, plus benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan, coordinate, and supervise all lifting operations.
  2. Maintain accurate records of inspections, certifications, and maintenance activities.
  3. Document all lifting operations, including load weights, equipment used, and personnel involved.
  4. Provide training and guidance to crew members.
  5. Work closely with other departments to coordinate lifting operations.
