Lead Lifting and Rigging Teams Globally

We are seeking a highly skilled CPCS Crane Supervisor to lead our lifting and rigging teams on a worldwide basis, with a strong focus on ensuring safe and efficient operations.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to join a leading engineering company based in Glasgow. As a CPCS Crane Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all lifting operations across various sites globally.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate lifting operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of lifting equipment inspections, certifications, and maintenance activities.
  • Document all lifting operations, including load weights, equipment used, and personnel involved.
  • Provide training and guidance to crew members on safe lifting practices and proper equipment use.
  • Coordinate lifting operations with other departments, such as deck and engineering.
  • Liaise with external contractors or service providers involved in lifting operations.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A CPCS Crane / Lift Supervisor Blue Card, which is essential for this position.
  • A CPCS Slinger Signaller Blue Card, also required for this role.
  • Excellent knowledge of LOLER Regs 1998 and BS 7121.
Benefits and Working Conditions

This position offers a competitive salary package, including:

  • An estimated annual salary range of £55,000 - £70,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
  • A 33% allowance for night shifts and weekend work.
