Dispensing Healthcare Professional

Ixworth Surgery is a busy and dynamic practice, seeking a skilled and experienced Dispensing Healthcare Professional to join our team. As a Dispensing Healthcare Professional, you will be responsible for managing the dispensary, processing prescriptions, and providing exceptional patient care.
About the Role:
- Ensure that all prescriptions are processed accurately and efficiently, using computer systems and maintaining accurate records.
- Manage stock levels, monitor expiration dates, and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the dispensary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care, responding to patient queries and concerns.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records, including patient medication lists and treatment plans.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a health care setting, preferably in a General Practice environment.
- Ability to work flexibly to meet practice demands and provide cover when needed.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Salary: £23,000 - £26,000 per annum, depending on experience.
