Job Summary:

The Senior Management Accountant will be responsible for supervising and mentoring the accounts team, preparing the month-end pack, including P&L, balance sheet, commentary, and analysis. You will also be involved in budgeting and forecasting activities, supporting with year-end/audit, and streamlining existing processes within finance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor the accounts team to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare the month-end pack, including P&L, balance sheet, commentary, and analysis.
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities to ensure accurate financial projections.
  • Support with year-end/audit to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Streamline existing processes within finance to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need to be fully qualified in CIMA, ACCA, or ACA, or be actively studying and committed to completing your studies within the next 12 months. Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to challenge and influence where required. Good systems skills, including Excel, are also necessary, with the ability to handle large and complex data sets.
