Role Overview:

We are a renowned British toy company that creates innovative and engaging play experiences. Our Graduate Designer will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop market-ready toy designs, create compelling product presentations, and participate in product testing and refinement. Job Responsibilities:

  • Transform concepts into visually appealing and functional toy designs.
  • Develop and present product ideas to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with designers, engineers, and manufacturers to bring products to life.
  • Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to inform design decisions.
  • Participate in product testing and refinement to ensure high-quality standards.

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or related field.
  • Demonstrable portfolio showcasing your product design capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
  • Excellent sketching and visualisation skills.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and safety standards.

Desirable Skills:

  • Basic 3D modeling experience using software like Blender or SketchUp.
  • Familiarity with materials and production techniques.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations in toy design.

Working Arrangements:

  • Hybrid working arrangement: 4 days office, 1 day home.
  • Full-time position based in Amersham, Hertfordshire.
