We're looking for a School Support Worker to join our team in Haringey, working with secondary school students who require additional support due to behavioural challenges.

About the Job

In this role, you'll work closely with students, teachers, and school staff to provide individualised support and guidance, helping students to overcome obstacles and reach their full potential.

Your Key Tasks
  • Deliver targeted interventions to promote positive behaviour and academic success
  • Develop strong relationships with students, parents, and school staff to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Support students in developing essential life skills, such as time management, organisation, and self-awareness
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to regular progress updates
Requirements and Benefits

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  1. Previous experience in a similar setting, preferably in a secondary school or educational context
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with students, staff, and parents
  3. Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet changing needs

We offer a salary of £30,000 - £38,000 per annum, dependent on experience, along with a range of benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
