At Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick, we're shaping the UK's national infrastructure and bringing buildings to life. As a Project Engineer in our MEP team, you'll play a key role in delivering complex systems and technologies that underpin our nation's vital infrastructure.

About the Role

We're seeking an organised, innovative and creative engineer with knowledge and experience of working on projects who is proficient in commercial/project management communications. You'll have experience in managing risks and change processes through solutions-based approach to problem solving.

As a Project Engineer, you'll be responsible for assisting the Project Manager to lead risk/opportunity reviews, present the Risk Register and recommend/implement changes. You'll also manage subcontractors, including monitoring of contractor attendance and progress, providing direct instruction and support as necessary, such that contractual arrangements are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and attend project reviews / project meetings
  • Maintain accurate project records (progress, daily diaries etc.)
  • Help to ensure reports provide relevant information to enable informed, cost-effective decisions in line with overall strategy
  • Monitor effectiveness of the H&S Management System and implement improvement solutions

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 25 days paid annual leave (pro rata), family friendly policies, pension, share incentive plan, volunteering leave, recognition schemes and much more.
