Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Audit and Reporting Manager to join our team in Grant Thornton UK. As a key member of our Financial Reporting and Audit Quality teams, you will lead on critical aspects of financial reporting and auditing.

About the Position:

  • You will work closely with audit teams to deliver high-quality audits and support clients.
  • You will develop and maintain strong working relationships with our audit teams and colleagues in Financial Reporting and Audit Quality.
  • You will have expertise in project management and be able to effectively prioritize tasks.

Main Duties:

  • Review and finalize financial statements for submission to regulatory bodies.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including senior management and board members.
  • Liaise with auditors to address any findings or concerns related to financial reporting.
  • Participate in the development of internal guidance and training materials.

Requirements:

  • Professional Accounting qualification (CIPFA, ACA, ICAS, CA or ACCA).
  • Post qualification experience in external audit or public sector finance.
  • Excellent knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and financial reporting in the public sector.
  • Strong project management skills.

Compensation: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, based on experience.
