We are looking for an experienced and motivated Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in a vibrant North London gastropub. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and be part of a successful hospitality group.

About the Role:

  • Lead the kitchen team and oversee all culinary operations.
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase fresh, local ingredients and reflect the pub's British-inspired cuisine.
  • Manage kitchen budgets, stock levels, and supplier relationships to optimize efficiency and cost control.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, health, and hygiene regulations consistently.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume gastropub or restaurant setting.
  • Natural leadership skills with excellent communication and hands-on approach to motivating and developing the kitchen team.
  • A passion for British cuisine and fresh, seasonal ingredients with a creative eye for menu design.
  • Strong organizational ability, skilled in managing inventory, budgeting, and maintaining operational efficiency.
