A vibrant North London gastropub is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Head Chef to lead its kitchen team. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and update dishes using fresh, local ingredients that reflect the pub's British-inspired menu
• Manage, train, and inspire a passionate kitchen team, ensuring high standards in food quality, presentation, and hygiene
• Oversee kitchen budgets, stock levels, and supplier relationships to maximize efficiency and maintain cost control
• Ensure the kitchen upholds food safety, health, and hygiene regulations consistently

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume gastropub or restaurant setting
• Excellent leadership skills with strong communication abilities and a hands-on approach to motivating and developing the kitchen team
• A love for British cuisine and fresh, seasonal ingredients with a creative eye for menu design
• Strong organizational ability, skilled in managing inventory, budgeting, and maintaining operational efficiency
