Job Description

This role involves providing companionship and engaging conversation to elderly individuals in their homes, helping them maintain independence with dignity and respect. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing daily support with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and running errands.
  • Assisting with personal care while respecting the client's dignity.
  • Encouraging physical activities and exercises.
  • Offering medication reminders and assistance with mobility.
  • Accompanying clients to appointments and social events, providing transportation if needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We seek individuals with a patient and compassionate nature, excellent communication skills, and reliability. No previous experience in caregiving is required; full training will be provided. A driving licence and vehicle access are essential due to the rural location of some clients.
