Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Trust Senior to join our team at Kreston Reeves. As a Trust Senior, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of trust clients, providing expert advice and guidance on trust administration, tax planning, and estate management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit trust returns and accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Advise clients on trust wind-up, income distributions, and tax payments, ensuring optimal tax efficiency.
  • Monitor work progress and update job workflow, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Develop and maintain trust, estate, and probate tax technical skills through training and research.
  • Ensure registration of trusts with the TRS, including client ID documents.
  • Support the trust team in delivering departmental incremental fee targets.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years' experience in trust work.
  • STEP membership or willingness to study for the qualification.
  • Studying or willingness to study for accountancy or tax qualifications (full study package provided).
  • Probate and estate experience (training provided).
