About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Specialist Mentor to join our team at a dynamic SEN School in East London.

As a Specialist Mentor, you will work closely with students aged 3-19 who have severe learning difficulties, autism, and profound multiple learning difficulties. Your primary responsibility will be to provide personalized guidance and support to help these students achieve their academic and personal goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized educational plans
  • Provide one-to-one mentoring and guidance
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to monitor student progress
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other stakeholders

Requirements

  • Degree in Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
  • Patient and understanding approach when working with students with challenging behaviors
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary and Benefits
