About the CompanyOur client is a highly regarded national planning consultancy that employs Town Planners from a variety of backgrounds to staff their growing and successful teams across the South of England.
In this role, you will support landowners, landed estates, national and local developers, and private individuals in providing town planning services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice on town planning matters
- Conduct appraisals and applications for planning permissions
- Engage in community consultation and environmental assessments
- Offer permitted development and prior approvals
- Develop policy and site promotion strategies
- Represent clients in appeals and certificate of lawfulness cases
- Enforce planning regulations and provide heritage and conservation services
- Manage planning obligations and representations
To be successful in this role, you will hold a planning degree (or similar) with previous planning experience at Senior, Principal, or Associate Planner level (public or private sector).
You will hold MRTPI (or be working towards it) and be a confident communicator with a clear passion for planning.
Able to demonstrate a clear passion for planning, you will be a team player with the ability to also work on your own initiative.
