Certain Advantage is currently looking for a skilled Components Specialist to join their team. As a Component Engineer / Components Cataloguer subcontractor, you will work on an initial 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. The role involves working predominantly from home, with occasional office days in Stevenage or Bolton.

The estimated salary for this position is around £30,000-£35,000 per annum (£50/hour), based on industry standards and location.

About the Role

You will be part of a dynamic team that plays a critical support role within the engineering group and wider business. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Processing and responding to support queries related to components and parts
  2. Managing component data, including lifecycle status, export control, and REACH/RoHS compliance
  3. Working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate data
  4. Contributing to continuous improvement activities to enhance the component service offering

To excel in this role, you should possess a solid understanding of components and parts, as well as relevant engineering experience or a degree. Proficiency in MS Office tools, Outlook, Excel, and Word is also essential.
