Certain Advantage is seeking a skilled Component Engineer / Components Cataloguer to join their team on an initial 6 month contract. The role will be primarily based at home with occasional office visits in Stevenage or Bolton, depending on preference.

With a focus on delivering exceptional technical advice and ensuring data accuracy, this position plays a crucial support role within the engineering department and wider business. Key responsibilities include:
  • Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently
  • Managing component data, including lifecycle status, export control, and REACH/RoHS compliance
  • Performing administrative tasks and providing technical support for Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, or Material commodities
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in MS Office tools, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

The estimated salary for this position is £50 per hour (Umbrella), offering a competitive rate for experienced professionals.
