Electrical Workshop Manager

PT Engineering & Manufacturing is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Electrical Workshop Supervisor to join its team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our Electrical Workshop, ensuring the successful completion of projects, and maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Management: Oversee the installation of project equipment on-site and GRP substations within the workshop.
- Team Leadership: Lead daily team meetings, manage project allocation, and progress.
- Quality Control: Ensure projects are completed on schedule and to the required quality standards.
- Communication: Serve as a communication link between the workshop team and the engineering department.
- Time Planning: Collaborate with various business departments to contribute to time planning for projects.
- Workshop Management: Manage daily duties within the workshop and Stores area, ensuring an organized and efficient workshop environment.
- Training and Development: Oversee the quality of workmanship and support the development of apprentices' skills.
- Relevant Qualification: Relevant electrical qualification (e.g., Level 3 qualification in a relevant field).
- Electrical Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical schematics.
- IT Skills: Proficient in general IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Leadership Experience: Previous experience as a Team Leader, preferably within the electrical industry.
- SAP Knowledge: SAP knowledge is desirable but not essential.
