Electrical Workshop Manager

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Workshop Supervisor to join our team at PT Engineering & Manufacturing. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our Electrical Workshop, overseeing project installations, and ensuring high standards of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the Electrical Workshop team and ensure effective communication between the workshop team and the engineering department.
- Oversee project installations and ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Ensure high standards of workmanship and promote good working practices in the workshop and on-site.
- Manage daily duties within the workshop and Stores area.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient workshop environment.
- Adhere to and enhance the workshop's quality system processes.
- Oversee the installation of project equipment on-site and GRP substations within the workshop.
- Manage the installation of electrical containment.
- Interpret and follow technical drawings and electrical diagrams.
- Lead daily team meetings and manage project allocation and progress.
- Relevant electrical qualification (e.g., Level 3 qualification in a relevant field).
- BTec, City and Guilds, or recognized apprenticeship/training in electrical work.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical schematics.
- Proficient in general IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Previous experience as a Team Leader, preferably within the electrical industry.
- SAP knowledge is desirable but not essential.
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Friday: 8:00 am - 1:00 pm (Early finish Friday)
- Free on-site parking
- Bonus scheme (up to 10% monthly bonus)
- Early finishes on Fridays
- 24 days of holiday plus eight standard UK bank holidays
