High Level Train Technician

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled High Level Train Technician to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out in-depth fault finding on Class 345 Electric Multiple Unit trains.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake all types of fault finding, both mechanical and electrical, with a bias on electrical.
- Complete software loads, data recorder analysis, and customer-related meetings in relation to reliability.
- Take overall responsibility for the reliability of the fleet as a member of the high-level technician team.
Requirements
- Completion of a recognised apprenticeship.
- Minimum qualification required – NVQ Level 3 in an electrical discipline.
- Experience within Rail.
- Use of Laptop's and diagnostic tools to determine faults.
- Ability to work from maintenance manuals and schematics.
- Experience of Mechanical or Electrical fault finding.
- Experience of Mechanical or Electrical repairs.
- Troubleshooting and evidence gathering.
