Job Title: Temporary Disrepair Surveyor

Job Type: Full-time

Location: East Midlands

Job Description:

We are proud to be partnering with a reputable Housing Association based in the East Midlands, who are looking to appoint a Disrepair Surveyor on a temporary basis. This is a full-time position with an hourly rate of up to £34 per hour on an Umbrella basis. The role is based on site/in the office five days per week, you may be able to work from home once per week dependent on business need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completing disrepair inspections and raising schedule of works
  • Working on a backlog of damp and mould inspections
  • Holding responsibility for the surveying and managing of the works process of the damp and mould services
  • Managing an end-to-end service for the damp and mould works, from surveying of customer's homes, arranging required works and post works quality inspections
  • Instructing and managing the identified works within their financial sign-off, both utilising the internal repairs team and specialist contractors as required

Requirements:

  • Experience required in Social Housing
  • Proven experience of completing disrepair inspections
  • Must have worked with customers within housing

Additional Skills:

  • Risk assessment and management

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am-4pm
