Housing Disrepair Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Building Surveyor to join our team as a Housing Disrepair Expert. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert reports on housing disrepair and handling party wall matters under the Party Wall etc Act 1996.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspecting properties to identify and analyze building defects
  • Issuing expert reports on housing disrepair
  • Handling party wall matters under the Party Wall etc Act 1996
  • Identifying and analyzing building defects, including detailed investigations
  • Providing other building surveying services as required
  • Actively pursuing new business opportunities with existing and new clients through effective networking
  • Keeping up to date with technical and legal changes
  • Supporting the Equity Partner in the development and growth of the housing disrepair and party wall services' provision
  • Assisting and training other surveyors as required

Requirements:
  • MRICS qualified Chartered Building Surveyor
  • Competence required with IT software, including Excel and Word
  • Ability to work towards overall project timescales and potentially tight deadlines
