We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Four Recruitment Ltd. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Proactively manage a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring that every interaction is personalized and every enquiry is addressed with expertise and care.
- New Business Development: Identify new business opportunities that align with our clients' evolving needs and develop strategies to pursue them.
- Client Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing solutions that meet their requirements.
- Contract Management: Ensure that all contractual agreements are fulfilled, and that every order is accurately processed and delivered on time.
- Performance Monitoring: Prepare and manage client KPI/SLA dashboards, ensuring transparency and accountability in performance metrics.
- Client Acquisition: Responsible for handling incoming referrals, guiding prospective clients through the process from initial contact to becoming loyal customers.
- Presentation and Negotiation: Presenting, negotiating, and quoting bespoke products to clients.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain and manage a pipeline of prospective clients.
- Tender Management: Complete client tenders ensuring all requirements are met and proposals are competitive.
- Market Intelligence: Attend monthly target meetings with the Commercial Manager to review past performance against budget, set future budget target, and discuss market trends and buying behaviours.
- Sustainability Expertise: Advise clients on sustainable packaging solutions that align with their environmental goals and the full lifecycle of their products.
Requirements:
- Experience of working in B2B account management specifically in a manufacturing and/or product sector as opposed to service.
- Competence in using CRM's.
- A proven track record in negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts with both existing and new customers.
