About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Health Psychotherapist to join our team at Medway NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Occupational Health department, you will play a vital role in providing psychological support to our staff, promoting their wellbeing and helping to maintain a healthy and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist psychotherapy input to the unit, including individual assessment, formulation, and individual therapy as appropriate.
  • Liaise with stakeholders within MFT to ensure ongoing appropriate psychological support to staff across the Trust and develop pathways for psychological support.
  • Contribute to strategies and plans with multidisciplinary colleagues in Safeguarding, Employee Experience, Human Resources, and others to ensure swift and appropriate psychological support for staff.
  • Understand the needs of staff in different settings and conceptualise innovative strategies to aid delivery of support and assist the Trust in promoting and maintaining the health of staff.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Registration with a recognised accrediting body, such as HCPC, UKCP, BABCP, or BACP.
  • Post-registration qualifications in specific therapy interventions, such as CBT.
  • Significant post-registration experience in a variety of primary and secondary care clinical settings.
  • Significant experience at Band 6 or above in the area of practice.
  • Data-driven experience of running programmes.
