We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Veterinary Nurse Leader to join our vibrant and growing veterinary practice in Southampton, Hampshire. As part of our dynamic team, you will provide exceptional veterinary care to animals while working in a collaborative environment. Job Overview

This is a busy and varied role where you will lead under pressure to help run the day, ensuring a high standard of patient and client care is upheld. You will use your nursing skills to their full potential, including theatre work and nurse consults. You will also have an interest and want to learn about the business, as well as how to motivate a team to achieve their personal goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
  • Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
  • Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
Requirements
  • Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
  • Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
What We Offer
