About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join our team at GLG Vets in Southampton, Hampshire. As part of our vibrant and growing veterinary practice, you will provide exceptional veterinary care to animals while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
  • Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
  • Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is up to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a range of benefits including annual leave plus Bank Holidays, CPD allowance, and fees paid for professional memberships.


Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need a veterinary degree from a recognized institution and a valid veterinary license to practice in the UK. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team and independently, are also essential.
