About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor to join our team at Admiral Insurance Plc. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our risk management, control, and governance processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct audits of our operations and subsidiaries on a risk-based approach to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Develop and maintain effective lines of contact with managers, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Provide on-going assurance of best practice within the company, identifying areas for improvement and implementing recommendations.
  • Collaborate with executive directors, the audit committee, and board members to ensure that risk management and governance processes are aligned with company objectives.
  • Travel overseas as required to support audit activities and ensure global compliance.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A professional qualification such as a PIIA, MIIA, CIA, CA, ACA, or ACCA.
  • Relevant audit experience, preferably in financial services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
